![]() Someone please tell me how a large fries should look? Or be properly filled? Perhaps I am the one who is misinformed!!! But shouldn't the fries fill the container they come in? When I order a small the container paper as it may be is literally bursting with □fries!! This here LARGE is barely over the lip if I was looking at it from a level view, u couldn't even tell if there were any fries in it at all!! Then it happens the polite young man brings my individually bagged large hot fries to the window of my car and WHAM!! IS THIS A JOKE? AM I ON CANDID CAMERA!?!? See 3rd photo, the fries are half full again!!! I almost choked!! Correct me if I am wrong and I'll be the first to apologize. I order a large fries with my combo meal and again I'm struck with the question why am I paying for a large? They were totally cool replacing them, however am I the only.one who realizes that now as I wait for my hot fries, the rest of my food is going cold! So the delema is eat my meal fryless? Or eat my meal as a meal only half of which is hot? □ answe: compromise, nibble while waiting for hot fries, then enjoy all together. I look forward to going back in a couple months when they work out the kinks.Īfter my now second visit and the same thing happened to my drive through order. My tea was delicious and the server was very kind. Melon or other fresh fruit would be more appropriate and less likely to go to waste. No one touched it and it seemed like such a waste. I will say I found the side salads to be an extremely strange garnish for breakfast food, as it even came on someone’s plate that ordered the French toast. ![]() LOL The the steak was melt in your mouth delicious and the chipotle hollandaise sauce was amazing! Never had anything quite like it! Unfortunately my eggs were very over done, like hard boiled eggs, however someone else at my table ordered the same thing, and hers were cooked perfectly, so it must be hit-or-miss. (Not a big deal) Our food took over an hour to come out, I assume they are short staffed like the rest of the country. We were disappointed they didn’t have their liquor license yet so no mimosas for us. Would love to come back again once they’ve been open under their new ownership for a bit. Black Bear diner was quick to respond to my review but they still haven't responded to my email that they advised me to send and that was almost 2 weeks ago, that I sent that email. They also put my sons meal on the smallest plate possible and he had a hard time eating because he had no space. The first time the Waitress Julie was rude, we should have just left than. The table next to us came in 15 minutes after we arrived and had a large party as well, and their food came out before ours did. ![]() Our food was absolutely horrible, our scrambled eggs with our pancake meal came out cold. When we went to pay she was pissed and was very vocal about the fact that we did not leave her a tip. She was pissed that we had a party of 10 and threw an absolute fit the entire time we were there. The Waitress only came out to bring meals, never offered refills or ice cream like the kids menu states they receive for eating a cub meal. The portion sizes were very small for the price, compared to other black bear diners we had been to previously. We came in during dinner hour and it was not busy at all. Nothing quite beats the delicious yolk on top of a CFS. Now that the itch is scratched, I think I’ll go back to my sunny side up eggs. Everything tasted great here and I was glad I was able to enjoy a nice omelette. I ordered the CFS kitchen sink omelette (with gravy and cheese separated for dietary reasons) and it was a great medium between two difficult choices I usually have at diners, whether to get an omelette, eggs Benedict, or my usual chicken fried steak with two sunny side up eggs. Everything tasted very hearty and delicious and something about the eggs that day was very fresh and tasty.įast forward to today and they’ve expanded their chicken fried steak options. It was one of the best ones I’ve ever had. I ordered a chicken fried steak and eggs and split it with a friend. There was a supercharger in this parking lot and luckily there was a place to eat as well. I first stumbled upon it when my friends and I were going camping and we needed to charge their Tesla. This is one of my favorite stops on the way to Olympic national park.
